CARO Working Workshop

Strengthen your connection with your dog by enhancing their abilities, building confidence, or just having a great time together. Working Rally is a flexible activity that offers various advantages.

In certain scenarios, the absence of signs and the fluidity of Working Rally can assist young and less confident dogs in gaining confidence in the ring.

This session will contain: 

- a review of the exercise(s)

- training aspects (practice time and discussion)

- avoiding the pitfalls

- review of training for the differen levels

- selecting exercise for trials

As this is a 2hour session we will aim to cover all 5 Exercises (a further Workshop will be set up for the additional exercises).

Teams should have skills that include as a minimum: sit, stay, stand, down

Exercsise in this session in order (depending on the levels of experience we may not get to all but 3 as a primary)

- Drop on Recall

- Back-Up

- Directed Jumping

(additional if needed) 

- Round the Clock

- Distance Signals

Dogs must be comfortable working with other dogs present

Crates are very much appreciated!

Change of footwear is required.
