Intro to Rally Obedience

This short introductory course will give you a brief intro into the world of Rally Obedience (CARO).

Whether you want to compete or just build on skills, get great focus or strengthen the relationship with your dog. Dog sports can help. The skills employed in Rally Obedience, ask your dog to sit, stand, down, walk on a loose leash and more all within the presence of distractions like people, other dogs, food etc........

Rally is a fun way of  perfecting your dog’s basic skills.

In this 4 week session we will cover

-  fun focus exercises

-  introduction to heel position and position changes

-  how to interpret some of you dogs behaviour as well as

-  how to navigate a Rally Obedience Course (CARO)

Pre-Requisites:

- Dogs must be comfortable on leash around other dogs

- Dogs must be house trained

- Dogs must have basic skills of sit, stay, down, loose leash walking is a great advantage!!

Please note some classes may be held outside.

Our regular classes run on Tuesdays evenings in the fall (Sept to June).
