About the event

To keep your furry athlete in tip-top shape for your chosen sport, it's crucial to ensure they can do fancy footwork and precise moves in the arena. It's not just about mastering skills but also keeping those muscles strong and ready for action. Even a short break can impact muscle strength for specific tasks. In obedience training, from Sphinx/Fold Back Downs to Heeling and Kick Back Stands, muscle power is key. This course is your ticket to understanding how to maintain strength for the ring ! Learn about handler tricks and doggy skills to nail that perfect performance, plus get a 6-week workout plan for your pooch. Each week, dive into the nitty-gritty of 2 exercises, mastering the right positions for you and your furry buddy. Get ready to sweat it out with and without your canine companion!

Pre-Requisites (MUSTS):

You should have your dogs vaccinations ready to submit post registration, you will receive an email post payment requesting these (vaccinations must be in date at time of the event and include Bordetella).  

Please bring a means to video your dog (cell phone/ GoPro etc)

Note pad and pen (or method to take notes)

Dog must be able to sit on cue (verbal or visual), Stand (on cue or with lure)

Crates will be usefull

Class Dates : June 25, July 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th

In all cases:

There are several possible health-related reasons for a dog’s  poor posture. These include injuries, possible weaknesses, joints or soft tissues issues etc... These cases should be seen by a veterinarian or rehab specialist first. Please make sure your dog is physically fit before you sign up for this class.

A veterinarian release letter is require for all dogs that have had surgery or have been undergoing rehabilitation in the previous 6months. This will be provided on request.

Cost: $199 Working spot (max 6 dogs)

Audit & Video: $150

Audit: $100

Class is based on 6 dogs, if less class time maybe shortened.

Working outside is a possibility
