Reiki is a great tool for any animal lover. Animals are sentient beings that can bring a lot of joy into our lives. They are great teachers and try to guide us down the path of humanity, with many lessons in humility along the way. Working with energy and animals is a way to help us see our own issues more clearly. With animals that live in our homes, they have become sensitive to our emotions and may be projecting these back to us. This is a concept called mirroring. Not all animals in a household will do this type of work for/with us. Some are come into our lives to make us laugh and others just to be. They are kind enough to help us heal our physical, emotional, and mental issues, we often see, the animal and owner having the same chronic sore muscles or joint conditions.
Animals play an important role in our lives, they act as our confidant and help reduce our stress. They also help us process our own emotions, when we are unable to, they take on some of that burden for us. Reiki is an invaluable skill that anyone can learn, to become part of their pets health care team. Reiki is a safe and simple tool that helps manage anxiety, arthritis, digestive issues, chronic pain and so much more. It is not a replacement for proper veterinary care, but can be used safely alongside any treatment. It can be used safely along side any care program that the vet has prescribed. Reiki has it’s greatest benefits at the emotional, spiritual level, and the result of balancing these layers, trickles down to the physical level. It helps get rid of the “issues in the tissues”. Most physical pain and restriction comes from the emotional level and is only noticed once it reaches the physical body.
The benefits of this healing energy are limitless. It is great for the young, old, and all ages in between. It is a great way to help maintain good health, or restore balance in the flow of energy throughout the body.
