About the event

Adolescence is one of the most challenging — and misunderstood — stages of a dog’s life. Between 6 and 18 months, dogs experience huge physical, emotional, and neurological changes. Skills that once felt solid may suddenly wobble, focus can disappear, and big feelings show up at the worst possible times.

Teenage Tails: Thriving Through Adolescence is a four-week course designed specifically for dogs in this teenage phase and the humans who love them.

This course is not about “starting over” or pushing dogs harder. Instead, we focus on guiding adolescent dogs through this developmental stage with clarity, structure, and realistic expectations.

What We’ll Work On

Throughout the four weeks, you and your dog will learn how to build skills that support calm, thoughtful behaviour in a distracting world, including:

  • Calm around other dogs and activities
