The fun sport of K9 Ratting - Release your inner terrier.......for some of our dogs this is a completely natural behaviour, for others its a skill to be learnt . This workshop is aimed at beginners or those wanting a refresh on the skills.

About the event
This fun sport (that ensures no harm to the Rats), is a great opportunity for your dog to engage in a natural activity.
Born out the dogs natural instinct to hunt, rats are contained in tubes and hidden in bails of hay. Your dog gets to find the rat!!
Skills involved in the sport inlcude, detection and alerts.
This workshop aims to introduce you to those skills, as well as a brief insight into the world of K9 Ratting Trials.
Open to all levels (but geared towards beginners/refreshers), all dogs big or small (terrier or not).
A second workshop will be held 1pm to 3pm for those who have taken the beginners level.
