Introduction to Hoopers (Level 1)

Hoopers is a great sport for dogs of all ages and all abilities. The sport (similar to agility) has dogs running through hoops around barrels and in tunnels. There is less running for the handler, and the reduction of tight turns and impact jumps ,makes it easier for the dog.

Hoopers is a fun dog sport that's ideal for dogs and owners of all ages and fitness levels. Dogs navigate a course of hoops, barrels and tunnels with the same pace and excitement as agility. But the courses are flowing and do not involve tight turns – making it accessible for everyone!

This is a 4week introductory course, further courses may be added based on demand.

Requirements

Your pup must be over 6months.

Reasonable standard of basic skills required (focus, sit, down).

Please note dogs should be on flat buckle collar and leash (no retractable leashes please)

A line length of  6-10ft will be useful (please bring the dog in on a standard length leash)

Please note you will need provide up to date proof of vaccinations (for your dog), including Bordetella (Kennel Cough).

Both handler and dog must be physically fit to take place.

Class dates: Feb 9th, 16th, 23rd and March 1st

Cost

6 Working Spot (with your dog) is $125  for 4weeks:

2 Video Audit (no dog) - 5min video review per week, $80 for 4 weeks

Unlimited Audit Spot (no dog)  $40,  for 4 weeks

Minimum 3 dogs
