Puppy Kindergarten (dogs age 16 to 22 aged at start of course)

Not only will you master essential dog training skills, but you'll also gain insights into your pup's world and learn how to handle everyday situations like a pro.

This course is a standalone gem and doesn't require prior enrollment in Puppy Pre-Skool.

You'll dive into the basics of training, explore effective techniques, and unravel the magic of science-based training. Plus, get ready for some skill-building fun with activities like Focus and Attention Work, Impulse Control, Loose Leash Walking, Recall, and Perfect Stays!

But wait, there's more!

Discover the wonders of Science-Based Training and become a doggy advocate to navigate those tricky situations. Learn how to prevent unwanted behaviors and spice up your recall game with new and exciting activities!

To top it off, you'll receive additional video support and handy homework sheets via email to keep you and your household in sync on this woof-tastic journey with your new fur baby. Let the training adventures begin!

This training will take place in Freds Dog Gym at 573 Lubitz Rd, Pembroke.

Pre-requisites

Dogs must have had 2nd set of vaccinations and must have Bordetella, proof required

Dogs must be toilet trained

Dogs must be dog-to-dog and dog-to-human friendly

So as not to overwhelm pups please note you are welcome to bring 1 other family member (children must be over 12yrs to take part in training, see below).

Children - while we hope every dog is child friendly, this is not something that can be assume Dogs in a new environments are often stressed and unpredictable. To ensure safety for all, children over the age of 12years are welcome to attend, please note we require a double leash method on the dog with a capable handler always holding one leash. If the child is not actively involved in training, they should be able to sit quietly (no children under 5yrs please)

Course dates are:  Sept 26th, Oct 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and Nov 7th  at 5:30pm (No class on Halloween)
