About the event

This course aims to provide an early foundation for future training, allowing both handler and pup to become accustom to the style of training and the skills involved. Teaching skills  from a fundamental  level to more advanced as you progress.

In todays world we are seeing more and more pups that are struggling with understanding how to cope with life. Having a confident pup can also be a challenge this course coupled with the Puppy Pre-Skool and/or Basic Skills couorses aim to help you and your pup succeed. Not only do we provide training for the basic skills for your dog, but we also provide you with the skills to understand your pup/dog more how to deal with everyday situations.

We hope you can joining us and we can share your pups journey!

This course can also be taken as a separate module and does not have to follow the Puppy Pre-Skool.

The course includes an introduction to training, training techniques, how and why science based training works.

Skill based activities include;

Focus and Attention Work,

Impulse Control

Loose Leash Walking

Recall

Perfect Stays

AND we have added these and more!!

Intro in to Science Based Training - why? because understanding how and why the training works will help you problem solve when things just are not working the right way.

Advocating for your Dog - why? because its easy to become overwhelmed - understand when it is appropriate to just say No

Techniques to help prevent unwanted behaviours - why? Did you know that resource guarding is a natural behaviour, did you know we can easily trigger the behaviour by our actions.

New Recall Games - why? because recall is FUN!!

Additional video support and homework sheets are emailed to help you on your journey with your new pup, and can be shared with members of you household.
