Puppy Kindergarten for dogs aged 16 to 22 weeks (at start of course) Stream G

The course aims to provide an early foundation for future training, allowing both handler and pup to become accustom to training and the skills involved. Teaching fundamental skills that will help you and your pup. In todays world with the restrictions on social activities understanding how to ensure you pup is able to cope with life is key to having a confident pup, this course coupled with the Puppy Pre-Skool aims to help you and your pup succeed.

This course can also be taken as a separate module.

The course includes an introduction to training, training techniques, how and why science based training works.

Skill based activities include, focus and attention work, impulse control, loose leash walking, recall and much more.

This course is supported by an online course group, which allows you to share information, ask questions etc in your time between lessons. Additional video support and homework sheets are posted in the group to help you on your journey with your new pup, and can be shared with members of you household.

Please note this course is currently online due to Covid Restrictions - we will move to in-person as soon as we are

permitted. This training will take place in the Dog Gym at 573 Lubitz Rd

Pre-requisites

Dogs must have had 2nd set of vaccinations and must have Bordetella, proof required

Dogs must be toilet trained

Dogs must be dog-to-dog and dog-to-human friendly

Cost $115 4x45mins-1hour (lesson time 45mins)

Course dates are: Wednesday March 2nd, 9th, 23rd and 30th a 6:45pm (No class over March-Break)

Please note priority is given to those on our Puppy Pre-Skool course. If you are not on this course and you are welcome to register we will offer any places available to the wait list before opening to the public.
