About the event

Work in a small group, allowing for plenty of personal attention.

The course aims to provide guidance on how, what, when and why you should socialize your dog (this covers more than dog to dog meet and greets).

The course will cover benefits and how to incorporate enrichment activities into you daily routine.

Also included is husbandry activities, including how to help your pup be more comfortable with grooming and nail trims.

It is suitable for puppies under the age of 16weeks.

Each session contains a skill building activity and a Q&A session with our instructor.

The course builds on the understanding of topics such as ‘the importance of bite inhibition’, is ‘mouthing' appropriate etc

Please note Free-play is not guaranteed, it will depend on the energy, confidence, size and age of the individual pups.

Additional video support and homework sheets are posted in the group to help you on your journey with your new pup, and can be shared with members of you household.

Children - while we hope every dog is child friendly, this is not something that can be garunted. Dogs in a new environmnt are often stressed and unpredictable. To ensure safety for all, children over the age of 12years are welcome to attend, please note we require a double leash method on the dog with a capable handler always holding one leash. If the child is not actively involved in training, they should be able to sit quietly.

Your pup must have had its 2nd set of shots (normally around 12 weeks) and Bordetella

Each session is 45mins.

To accommadte pups that are awaiting thier shots you can join mid course if space is available

Last 2x45mins $70

Last 1x45mins $50
