About the event
It's time to learn the basics!! Get your dog ready for an exciting sports career.
Learning new skills is a great way to build your relationship with your dog. Using positive reward based training, to help build the skills you need to have a successful agility or sports dog.
During this course you will learn about the sport of agility. We will look at what motivates your dog, the proper use of rewards, recalls, off leash control, reinforce stays, introduction to equipment, including balance equipment and some handling skills through jumps (note for dogs under 18months restrictions will apply).
You will need to bring a toy (ideally a tug toy) & food rewards for your dog.
Please bring a water dish
Crates will be required (not necessary for first class).
