About the event
Dogs must be imprinted on all three odours, and understand interior (area) searches.
Class will focus on challenging hides, handler skills and games. Allowing the dogs to work through distractions as well as different hide locations.
There must be a minimum of 2 dogs in the class, as the number of dogs increases the duration of the class will extend (3/4 dogs is approx 1 hour). Drop in sessions must be booked before close of play on the previous Friday.
Learn from experienced and trained instructors.
Instructor: Sharon Needham, Sharon has worked and trained in various different canine nose work applications including Sporting Detection Dogs Association, SDDA (1 dog currently at Excellent Level, 2 pups just starting), Canadian Kennel Club, CKC Scent Detection, K9 Ratting (Adv level), CKC Tracking (Tracking Dog title), some Human Remains Detection, (HRD) experience.
