About the event
Prerequisite: Dogs must have successfully completed Tailwaggers K9 Sport Scent Detection Level 2. If you have trained elsewhere, please contact us before registering so we can ensure this class is the right fit for you and your dog.
Level 3 builds on the foundations developed in Level 2, with a greater focus on developing a clear, consistent Final Trained Response (FTR) and strengthening your dog's nose lock at source. As searches become more challenging, you'll learn how to better read your dog's behaviour and build confidence in calling the hide.
Throughout the course we'll:
Further develop the Final Trained Response (FTR) and nose lock.
Introduce more complex interior searches.
