About the event

Open to TailWaggers students

Based on the AAC game of snooker we have adapted the rules for a small space event.

TailWaggersK9Sport - Snooker

  • Each dog will get one minute in the ring, split between 45 seconds together and 15 seconds to complete the final sequence.
  • Aim of the game is to gain as many points as possible hand have fun doing it).
  • A final sequence will be determined by numbers starting at the lowest number one and going up, obstacles in the final sequence during the final sequence will gain the points on the cone.
  • Dogs must successfully complete a bar jump, before attempting another item (other items are everything else on the field except the bar jumps).
  • If you knock a bar of that is part of the final sequence, when you take the final sequence, you could only go as as far as that object.
  • Other object may be completed in any order, but you cannot repeat an object more than twice without attempting another object.
  • Points per object, will be determined per course.
  • Teeter will be in play for those that are experienced on it. A teaching teeter will be offered those still learning.
  • A frame may be use (will not be a full height).
  • Contact equipment must be completed correctly (2 feet must enter the yellow zone before the  dog leaves the equipment)
  • No food in the ring, no toys for advanced competitors
  • Max jump height will be 16inches (due to small sapce)  {if you do not know your height we will set it for you}
