Based on the AAC game of snooker we have adapted the rules for a small space event.

Weaves / Dog Walk - 5 points

TailWaggersK9Sport - Snooker (UPDATED based on Feb 25th event)

  • Each dog gets 1min in the ring, 40 secs for main part 20 secs for final sequence
  • No pints can be earned after the 40sec buzzer, unless in the final sequence
  • No rewards in the ring.
  • Dog can run with a collar (no harness)
  • Time starts when the dog takes/starts the first obstacle (no start line)
  • A winged jump must be successfully completed before an obstacle can be attempted
  • An unsuccessful attempt on an obstacle, results in the handlers needing a winged jump before attempting another obstacle (exception is weaves, no limit on number of tries).
  • If a dog exists the weaves they can be put back in, at the point they left
  • If a bar is knocked the obstacle becomes unavailable and is incomplete
  • If the dog takes an obstacle on route to another that is considered the obstacle and a winged jump must be taken before proceeding. A further obstacle will not be counted.
  • If a dog fails to complete an obstacle, no points will be award but a winged jump must be taken (fails to complete, i.e. leaves contact equipment to soon)
  • NQ - dog leaves the ring or eliminates in the ring
  • You may not repeat an obstacles (wing-tire-wing-tire) before switching to another obstacle
