Try-it Agility - As part of 'The Water + Dirt Festival' (Evening Session)
Part of the Laurentian Valley Dirt and Water Festival Does your dog love to run and jump? Do you feel they would be great at agility? This is your chance to find out more about the sport of agility. We currently have openings in some of our classes.

As part of 'The Water + Dirt Festival' TailWaggersK9Sport is offereing one week of indidvual Try-It Sessions.
The Water & Dirt Festival' is a 2 week festival that brings sport enthusiasts together to the Ottawa Valley for the love of the outdoors. The festival is packed with activities for all ages ranging from water sports, to getting dirty, to having fun and celebrating each other. This festival is in collaboration with: The Town of Petawawa, the Township of Laurentian Valley, North Algona Wilberforce, and the City of Pembroke with support from Ottawa Valley Tourism Association, and the Ontario Highlands Tourism Organization. Now is your chance to try the sport of Agility with out the need to sign up for a course. These sessions will be 45/60mins in a small group. You will get an insight into what the sport is really about and you will find out if you and your dog really like agility.
You will need to bring a toy (ideally a tug toy) & food rewards for your dog.
Please bring a change of footwear.
Water bowl for your dog.
Crates are required for classes (not necessary for the Try-It Session).
Dogs must be vaccinated including Bordetella
Dogs must be free of injury and over 9month (if under 18months restrictions will apply)
Dogs MUST be house trained
Children must be over 12years of age, and accompanied by an adult that is holding and resposnible for the the dog.
Please note it maybe that more basic skills are required before you attend class - we will let you know post the try-it session.
Agility training classes run, fall through to end of spring we break for summer.
We will hold classes both during the day time and the evening. Class registration will be for 6 week periods, those on the cousre in progress get first place on teh next 6 weeks. be opening day time and evening classes post the Try-It Session
Cost $37.50 per dog
Regular classes starting in the fall - you must have completed a Try-it Session or be known to TailWaggersK9Sport instructors, before joining a class.
